Leading the Health and Physical Education Department, you will be responsible for maximising student engagement and progress, as well as managing a wide range of facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership in educational settings
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships to achieve planned outcomes
  • Manage staff, physical and financial resources

As the HPE Head of Department, you should utilise high impact teaching strategies to work closely with students, teachers and the community. This involves reflecting on and assessing the effectiveness of teaching practice and cultivating a safe learning environment.

The successful applicant will ideally possess highly effective organisational skills especially in event management, strong leadership skills and have the ability to work collaboratively with an enthusiastic team of teachers to support best practice both in and out of the classroom.

Experience teaching and leading others in the delivery of Year 11 and 12 General courses, ATAR courses and certificate qualifications will be highly regarded.
