We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Credit Controller to join our team at REO Group. As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in managing our company's credit and collections functions, ensuring timely payments and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit checks on new customers to assess their creditworthiness
  • Manage a large portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Develop and implement effective credit and collections strategies to minimize bad debt and maximize cash flow
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans
  • Reconcile complex month-end accounts and provide accurate financial reporting
  • Monitor debtor balances and implement strategies to reduce debtors Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
  • Develop and maintain procedures and policies to ensure timely payments and high customer retention
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a full-function Credit Controller role
  • Proven track record of managing high-volume ledgers and collecting/negotiating payment plans
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on credit and collections
