Panel Beater / Coachbuilder Role Overview

Finch Restorations is seeking an experienced Panel Beater or Coachbuilder to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong portfolio of high-quality projects, with at least five years' hands-on experience and a Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or equivalent.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Assess and repair vehicle damage, using specialized tools to straighten bodies and chassis
    • Fabricate rust repair panels and perform metal shaping, lead-wiping/lead-loading, and refinishing
    • Reassemble and finish vehicles, collaborating with Coachbuilders on custom and vintage restoration projects

Requirements: Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid work visa for Australia; experience restoring classic and vintage vehicles desirable.
