Assistant Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting the Service Coordinator with the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing quality programs that cater to the needs of children and families
  • Managing the day-to-day running of programs, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality services
  • Supporting the Coordinator with staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant policies and procedures
  • Undertaking administrative requirements, such as record-keeping and reporting
  • Working collaboratively with families and the school community to provide exceptional customer service

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A completed or near-completed qualification in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services)
  • Experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare
  • Experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
