About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cleaning Assistant to join our team at Macquarie Care Bathurst. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in our residents' rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the cleaning team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in residents' rooms and common areas.
  • Support your peers and maintain a positive and cooperative team spirit.
  • Work safely to protect yourself, colleagues, and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner is highly desirable.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families.
  • A reliable team player.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
