Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Engineering Specialist.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the production management function for technologies and systems that support various business functions. They will work actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues, identify defects and discrepancies, and manage incidents effectively.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and experience with Structured or Object Oriented programming languages such as Java, C, C++, VB, .NET, ASP, or Angular. Additionally, proficiency in Scripting languages like Shell script, Perl, JavaScript, or Python is required. Familiarity with RDBMS environments like Sybase ASE/IQ, Oracle, or DB2 is also necessary.

  • Work collaboratively with team members to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement solutions to improve application stability and performance.
  • Automate failures using machine learning techniques and notify discrepancies in production health.
  • Participate in Change management processes to minimize risk in production environments.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of software development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures and their practical applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with experience analyzing root causes and suggesting resolutions.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate technical and functional aspects of development/production problems.
