About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cleaner at our Tea Tree Gardens Retirement Village in Hope Valley. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service in our common areas, including the Community Hall, Offices, and toilets, as well as the toilets and showers in the pool area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality cleaning services in the common areas, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and customer service, responding promptly to any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Report and record any maintenance issues, maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with the Manager - Care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of our residents, adhering to our organization's values and policies.
  • Assist with other tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team.
  • Comply with all Workplace, Health and Safety standards, reporting any safety or security concerns promptly.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Experience working in the retirement industry is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of people.
  • Full Driver's License (desirable).
  • National Police Check (or ability to obtain).
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment, including Drug and Alcohol Testing.
