About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bupa Aged Care. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a care team to deliver exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Prepare and implement high-quality care plans and assessments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Maintain accurate care documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Review and identify residents eligible for care upgrades, ensuring timely and effective support.
  • Ensure safe medication administration, best practice wound care, and clinical support for our residents, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
  • Support the Clinical Care Manager with the management and completion of ACFI assessments, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Engage in regular handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
  • Adhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of AN ACC funding and its application in aged care.
  • Ability to assess documentation and clinical deterioration, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • A strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and their outcomes.
