About the Role

Premier People is seeking an experienced Rubber Liner to join our team at various mine sites across Western Australia. As a Rubber Liner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and safety of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply rubber sheeting to prevent corrosion and minimize contamination hazards in tanks, valves, pipes, and similar articles.
  • Prepare surfaces for lining by scraping or painting interior surfaces and ensuring sandblasting has been completed appropriately.
  • Test lining for holes and faulty seams.
  • Carry out pulley lagging tasks using various lagging materials.
  • Cut and buff rubber materials.
  • Operate plant, machinery, and equipment, including vulcaniser presses, overhead cranes, winches, and belt winders.
Requirements
  • Level 1 and above Rubber Liner with relevant experience and knowledge in the preparation and application of rubber and wear products and coating systems.
  • Compulsory qualifications include a White Card, valid WA Driver's License, Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D), Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D), and Gas Testing Atmospheres (RIIWHS202E).
  • Preferred qualifications include previous experience working in the mining industry and a High Risk Work License, including Forklift, Basic Rigging, and EWP.
