Our organization is seeking a seasoned Network Infrastructure Specialist to design, deploy and maintain the backbone of our operations.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of hands-on experience with network configuration and administration, including proficiency with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and wireless infrastructure.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Create and manage network architectures (routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs) to meet business demands
  • Maintain high network uptime through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting connectivity issues and resolving incidents swiftly
  • Configure, update and secure network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs)
  • Implement robust security measures: firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, segmentation and access control policies
  • Plan, execute and document system upgrades, patches, backups and disaster recovery procedures
  • Support and mentor IT staff on best practices and tools for networking excellence
  • Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers for seamless infrastructure projects

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with network configuration and administration
  • Proficiency in routing, switching, firewall, VPN, and wireless infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, OSPF, BGP, VLANs)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
