ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Play Centre Cafe Assistant.

The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional service and creating a positive experience for all patrons.

Key responsibilities will include preparing and serving food and coffee promptly and efficiently, operating the coffee machine and making espresso-based drinks, assisting with basic kitchen duties such as preparing sandwiches and deep frying food items, handling cash transactions and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

The ideal candidate will be quality-focused, flexible and teachable with a desire to learn new skills and contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food and coffee promptly and efficiently
  • Operate the coffee machine and make espresso-based drinks
  • Assist with basic kitchen duties such as preparing sandwiches and deep frying food items
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in hospitality and barista roles
  • Australia work authorisation

Benefits:

This is a part-time opportunity with 20-25 hours per week. You will work a rotating roster including day shifts, weekend availability and some evening shifts.

This role is perfect for someone who is flexible and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
