At the University of New South Wales, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Forensic Psychology Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

  • This is a part-time position (three days a week, 7 hours per day) that involves providing supervision and training to provisional psychologists at our UNSW Forensic Psychology clinic in Surry Hills.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group supervision to Master of Psychology program students.
  • Manage learning and evaluate development of provisional psychologists by observing, guiding, and providing feedback on interactions with clients.
  • Develop learning opportunities and provide training support to ensure the growth and development of our team members.
  • Maintain a client caseload and/or oversee the caseloads of provisional psychologists.
  • Participate in and conduct educational activities to promote professional development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and respectful work environment.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks, including placement coordination into external sites.
  • Contribute to the development of clinic protocols and resources.

About You:

  • You must be a registered psychologist with AHPRA, endorsed in an applicable field such as Forensic or Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
  • You should have experience as a board-approved supervisor with post-qualification clinical experience.
  • You possess strong psychology skills regarding cultural considerations, risk assessment, and clinical intervention.
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, particularly in providing effective feedback.
  • You can work collaboratively within a team and independently manage competing demands.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range: AU$100,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
