Genesis Minerals Limited is seeking a highly skilled Underground Mine Surveyor to join our professional Mining team at the Gwalia operations. This is a permanent role on a balanced 8 days on, 6 days off roster cycle, with the option to Drive-In Drive-Out from Kalgoorlie.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct survey pickups, CMS, and scans for the development of as-built data for development, production advance, and reported volumes;
- Complete high-order survey control set outs for production drills, raise bores, and jumbo development to minimize overbreak;
- Maintain the upkeep of survey equipment and survey processes for reporting, logging, and archiving of survey data;
- Install survey control stations to industry best practice methods, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements;
- Produce survey plans for mining and safety activities;
- Diploma in Mine Surveying (minimum) or equivalent;
- Underground mine survey experience;
- Strong computer skills with competency in the programs Deswik CAD and Pix4D;
- Experience in the safe use of Optec V400 CMS;
- Familiarity with the use of Leica TS15, MS60 Total Stations;
- Familiarity with the use of Leica GPS GS16;
