Job Summary:
The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Financial Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the project by delivering expert financial and project support services, managing financial planning, and ensuring compliance with financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Management: Develop and manage the delivery of financial planning, financial management, financial system solutions, and budgeting.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Utilize high-level expertise in financial reporting, analysis, reviews, and forecasting.
- Financial Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with financial compliance requirements and controls.
- Project Support and Document Control: Provide project support and document control services.
- Risk Management: Provide specialist advice to the Project Director and other key stakeholders on risks relating to project performance as well as financial and delivery matters.
- Project Control: Lead and deliver project control tasks within The State of Queensland's project management systems.
- Culture and Continuous Improvement: Encourage and actively promote a proactive, performance-focused culture within the team. Actively participate in conversations to build and support an environment of continuous improvement.
