The Northern Queensland Primary Health Network is seeking a skilled Healthcare Partnerships Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, identifying new opportunities for collaboration, and driving partnerships to improve healthcare outcomes in Northern Queensland.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies to advance the goals of the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for collaboration and partnership to improve healthcare services and outcomes in Northern Queensland.
- Work with internal teams to ensure cross-organizational understanding of current projects and activities in the region.
- Monitor trends and emerging issues in healthcare and provide strategic recommendations to inform network decision-making.
- Develop high-quality briefing and situational analysis documents on emerging issues and regional needs.
Requirements
- Minimum degree qualifications in a health-related discipline, and five years' experience within a health service or related field.
- Demonstrated high level of experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop rapport with stakeholders across the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated high level of written communication skills, including brief writing.
- Demonstrated ability in understanding complex healthcare issues and ability to condense for the understanding of all audiences.
- Demonstrated high level of oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated high level project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a high-demand work environment.
- Demonstrated aptitude to work successfully in a team environment, with a solutions-based, positive attitude.
- Demonstrated understanding of the issues affecting First Nations peoples, and skills in cultural responsiveness.
