About the Leadership Role

The Board of Directors is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership to our organization. This involves setting the overall strategy, including defining our risk appetite, and overseeing our financial governance. The Board also plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community, particularly vulnerable children and young people.

Frequency of Board Meetings

The Board meets five times a year at our headquarters, and once annually for a strategic planning day.

Requirements

We are seeking individuals with strong values alignment, a deep understanding of their fiduciary duties, and excellent ethical standards. Desired skills include legal and governance expertise, marketing and philanthropy knowledge, revenue generation capabilities, and program design and delivery experience.
