Electrical Field Service Engineer

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in the field of electrical services. As an Electrical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our X-ray and trace detection equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background, with a Certificate III Trade Qualification or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or IT. You will also possess excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

In this role, you will perform routine maintenance tasks, respond to equipment faults, and install new equipment. Your strong technical knowledge will enable you to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronics issues (24V or less), preparing reports and contributing to process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot, service, and repair high-tech X-ray and trace detection equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and respond to equipment faults
  • Install and commission new equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronics issues (24V or less)
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and contribute to process improvements
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and uphold strong safety practices
