About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Supervisor to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safe and reliable operation of our business while ensuring daily targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Conduct daily toolbox meetings to ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures
  • Identify and mitigate hazards through effective risk management practices
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets
  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities as required
  • Address people-related issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership experience within a scrap or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of scrap metal processing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate teams to achieve high performance standards
  • Previous experience operating mobile plant and current forklift license (desirable)
  • Computer literacy, particularly in SAP and Microsoft Office
