Job Role Overview

About the Position

We are seeking a seasoned employment lawyer to provide expert advice on workplace laws and industrial relations. The successful candidate will collaborate with leaders across the organisation to interpret legislation, mitigate risk, and find pragmatic solutions to complex workforce challenges.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Labor Law Compliance: Ensure adherence to new employment and industrial relations legislation. Identify and manage compliance risks.
  • Strategic Advisory Services: Provide strategic guidance on employment law matters, including dispute resolution, litigation, and disciplinary procedures.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of post-admission experience as a qualified lawyer. Strong knowledge of employment and industrial relations law is essential, including understanding of awards and enterprise agreements.

A deep understanding of legal principles and judicial procedures is also required.
