About Sustainability Roles

Organizations are facing significant challenges in achieving sustainability goals, particularly in the built environment. The sector accounts for approximately 40% of global CO2 emissions. Companies are now focusing on how to decarbonize their real estate efficiently and effectively. This is where sustainability experts can make a tangible difference by advising companies on investments that deliver financial, environmental, and social returns.

The built environment contributes nearly 40% to the total global carbon footprint. With rising temperatures and urbanization, this trend will continue unless action is taken. Many corporations have pledged to reduce their carbon footprint to net zero but still require assistance in defining and implementing these promises. JLL manages over 500 million square meters of real estate on behalf of its clients, enabling it to contribute to the sustainability agenda.

Sustainability Ambition

We recognize the importance of sustainability in contributing to a better world and shaping the future of real estate. Our goal is to create spaces, buildings, and cities where people can thrive.
