GP Medical Educator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate GP educator to join our team. As a medical educator, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of registrar education and support.

This includes designing and delivering small group learning programs, conducting practice visits, and assessing registrar progress. You will work closely with training coordinators to ensure high-quality, consistent GP training that meets the needs of registrars, supervisors, and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver educational programs for registrars, including small group learning and mentoring.
  • Facilitate registrar progress, assessments, and exam readiness, escalating issues as needed.
  • Provide support to supervisors with teaching, professional development, and accreditation requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with registrars, supervisors, practices, and local health stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • RACGP Fellowship and specialist GP registration.
  • Passion for medical education and registrar support.
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills.
  • Experience in teaching or facilitating learning groups.
