About the Role
We are seeking passionate Youth Workers to join our team as Residential Support Workers. In this role, you will work directly with young people, building relationships, providing emotional support, and helping them develop life skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to mentor and teach young people necessary life skills.
- Work collaboratively with other Youth Workers, Case Managers, and community services to provide comprehensive support to young people.
- Participate in post-crisis support functions to better support young people with complex needs and behaviours.
Requirements
- Hold a Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (or equivalent qualification).
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
- Demonstrated ability to openly engage and build trust with young people from diverse backgrounds.
