Quality Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineering Manager to lead our team of quality engineers in ensuring the highest standard of quality in our software products. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing testing strategies, managing quality assurance processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional software solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies that meet the needs of individual scrum teams and align with broader quality engineering practices.
- Oversee the creation, execution, and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional testing.
- Implement effective defect tracking and management processes to ensure timely resolution and communication of issues to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product management, development, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Lead the development of automated testing, covering integration and e2e testing scenarios, leveraging test automation tools and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure CI/CD pipelines are robust and efficient while incorporating comprehensive automated test coverage.
- Establish quality metrics and KPIs to evaluate testing effectiveness and provide regular reports and insights to management.
- Facilitate retrospectives and quality reviews to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices in quality engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in quality engineering or software testing, covering both on-premise and SaaS products.
- Proven experience in managing and developing high-performing teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and tools, test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress), and Cloud technologies (preferably AWS).
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile testing practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach and a commitment to delivering quality software.
