Lead Front Desk Manager - Hospitality Expertise Sought
We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Manager to oversee the front and back offices of a busy establishment in Central Australia.
This role would be ideal for an individual with exceptional interpersonal skills, who enjoys interacting with guests from diverse backgrounds.
The successful candidate will possess previous management experience in a hotel or resort front office, with expertise in arrivals, departures, and reservations.
On-site accommodation, a caravan park, bar, bistro, and retail outlet are available to staff, providing a clean and spacious work environment.
With multiple properties across South Australia and the Northern Territory, this opportunity offers staff a great location to work, save money, and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Central Australia.
Staff benefits include access to an on-site swimming pool and gym.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day front and back office operations
- Man the reception desk - check-ins/out, posting to accounts, reservations, etc.
- Manage invoicing and financial transactions
- Assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Perform general administrative tasks
- Coordinate group reservations
- Handle guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Collaborate with other departments as required
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience with RS Touch POS and accounting system or similar
- Experience with Little Hotelier Property Management System or similar PMS system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to at least 12 months
