Emergency Medicine Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine specialist to join our team at Geraldton Health Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the provision of comprehensive emergency services and support outlying facilities via telehealth.

The successful applicant will be part of a blended medical model that includes experienced doctors, Registrars, and Residents, with a strong teaching culture. The team hosts GP, ACEM, and CICM trainees, and senior doctors have dedicated non-clinical time for leadership, education, and quality care initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide comprehensive emergency services and support outlying facilities via telehealth.

  • To participate in quality care initiatives and lead by example.

Requirements:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration as an Emergency Medicine specialist with the relevant medical board.
  • Demonstrated expertise in emergency medicine, including experience in managing complex cases.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
