Senior Frontend Engineer

We are a high-performing team of ecommerce software professionals responsible for developing cutting-edge online experiences.

  • This senior role has high visibility and impact. You'll play a pivotal part in defining the future of our customer experience, ensuring consistency across teams, and guiding best practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architectural decisions that balance innovation with scalability, performance, and maintainability
  • Partner with stakeholders to align technical priorities with business goals
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship, helping engineers sharpen their craft

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional frontend engineering experience, with extensive expertise architecting and leading React/Next.js applications
  • Deep understanding of frontend performance optimisation, server-side rendering, and static-site generation
  • Proficiency with Tailwind CSS (or alternative styling frameworks) and CSS architecture for maintainable UI
  • Expertise in component-based design and reuse, including design systems and shared component libraries
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and frontend tooling
  • Familiarity with headless CMS integrations, GraphQL/REST APIs, and micro-frontend architectures
  • Solid grasp of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+) and SEO best practices
  • Prior experience mentoring and providing technical leadership across teams
  • A strategic thinker able to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps
