About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Regional Emergency Medicine Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible impact on the health and wellbeing of our community while supporting the development of your colleagues.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team in managing emergency presentations and ensuring efficient care processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Life Flight team and other medical specialists.
- Mentor and teach medical students, junior staff, and registrars, providing education and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive remuneration package valued up to $527,019 (L27) per annum, comprising:
- Salary rates between $100.78 (L18) and $127.77 p.h.
- Motor vehicle allowance.
- Professional development allowance.
- Emergency department specialty allowance.
- Professional development leave (3.6 weeks p.a.).
- Regional attraction allowance.
- Professional indemnity cover.
- Private practice arrangements.
In addition to the above remuneration package, you will also receive:
- Superannuation (up to 12.75%).
- Annual leave loading (17.5%).
