Job Title: Mechanical Technician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Technician to join our team. As a Casual Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform corrective maintenance repairs, general repair work, and preventative maintenance on all Terminal equipment.
  • Carry out fault finding and emergency breakdown repairs on Straddle Carriers, Reach Stackers, Forklift trucks, Quay cranes, and ancillary equipment.
  • Carry out PM servicing as required in compliance with PM schedules provided.

Workshop Expectations:

  • Ensure all repair and service work is carried out in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with company health and safety regulations.

Other Requirements:

  • Represent the company in a professional manner to meet client expectations.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
