About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reward Portfolio Manager to join our team at Suncorp Group. As a key member of our Reward team, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing key deliverables across our Reward portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Project Leadership: Lead strategic remuneration and benefits projects and regulatory change initiatives to drive business growth and improve employee engagement.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice on complex reward matters to support business leaders and stakeholders.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare Board People and Remuneration Committee and Executive Leadership Team Reward papers, as well as oversee the Annual and Interim Remuneration Review processes.
  • Remuneration Disclosures: Prepare accurate and timely remuneration disclosures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Job Evaluations and Benchmarking: Manage and coordinate job evaluations, benchmarking, and remuneration recommendations to ensure fair and competitive compensation practices.
  • Benefits Management: Manage Suncorp's share plans, superannuation, insurances, recognition, and benefits to support employee well-being and engagement.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate budgeting and expenditure for rewards and benefits to optimize business outcomes.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor Reward Advisors and Analysts to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a Reward team within a large, complex organization.
  • Skills: Innovative thinking, strong consultation and stakeholder management skills, advanced numeracy and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in HR, Commerce, Economics, Law, or equivalent (desired).
