About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Allied Health Assistant to join our team at Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, based in Port Pirie. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-discipline team delivering Allied Health services to patients/clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance and support to healthcare professionals in the delivery of patient care.
  • Apply specialized clinical screenings and treatments under the supervision of an Allied Health professional.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks related to patient interventions or episodes of care.
  • Participate in group-based therapies and education sessions for patients with diverse needs.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting and knowledge of Allied Health Assistants.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
