At GenesisCare, we're passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. We're seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in our Medical Oncology/Haematology Day unit in St Leonards.

The successful candidate will be part of a close-knit team of nurses who deliver best practice services in medical oncology and haematology nursing. You will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care, including patient assessment, administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapies, and blood transfusions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, family, and friends
  • Collaborating with Oncologists/Haematologists and the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintaining patient and organisation confidence by adhering to policy and procedure
  • Contributing to the team effort by assisting with team goals
  • Bringing a positive, enthusiastic, and 'can-do' attitude to work

We're interested in hearing from individuals who have:

  • Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers
  • Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care
  • Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member
  • Experience in the field of Oncology desired
