Locomotive Driver Opportunity

We are currently seeking qualified Locomotive Drivers to join our team and work on a full-time arrangement. These roles are suited to individuals who demonstrate superior teamwork skills, flexibility, safety awareness, and customer service.

  • Operation of locomotives including mainline, shunting, and marshalling is a key responsibility of this role.
  • Ensuring trains are safe and ready for departure requires attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • We expect our Locomotive Drivers to work in accordance with our safety and operational standards and procedures at all times.
  • Maintaining a high level of on-time running is essential to meeting our business objectives.
  • Preparing and conducting brake testing on locomotives is a critical task that requires skill and expertise.
  • Providing high-quality customer service enables us to meet our business objectives and deliver exceptional results.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • You must be available to work a 24/7 shift roster.
  • Experience in WA Safeworking System is highly advantageous.
  • A Certificate IV in Rail Operations is required for this position.
  • You will also need to have a current unrestricted Class C driver's license.

Suitable candidates will need to provide evidence of the units of competence attained from the TLI42615 Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Rail Operations).
