Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Programmer to join our team. As a key member of our data management department, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting user requirements to develop system plans and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and document user requirements to develop system plans and technical specifications.
  • Write and maintain high-quality program code in accordance with industry standards (e.g., Python, SQL, Java).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide expert advice on software design and upgrades.
  • Document system requirements and operational procedures for end-users.
  • Lead or contribute to software development projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) or a closely related field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science).
  • With an ICT Major: Minimum 3 years of relevant post-qualification work experience as an Analyst Programmer or Data Analyst within the last 10 years.
  • With an ICT Minor or AQF Diploma: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within the last 10 years.
  • Experience in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, SQL) and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and working with relational databases.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in data analytics, visualization, or reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Knowledge of data management processes and compliance with data governance standards.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions within project guidelines.
