Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team at a local early education centre. As an assistant educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 0-5 years.

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week with rotating shifts Monday to Friday. You will be part of a dedicated team of professionals who strive to build and maintain an outstanding learning environment for our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of our children.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment that promotes physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You hold a Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children's Services approved by ACECQA.
  • You have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • You have proven experience as an educator in an early childhood service, working with children aged 0-5 years.
  • You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid certificate.
