
Trade Apprentice Opportunities in Plumbing Installation

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an apprentice plumber. As a member of our team, you will gain hands-on experience and develop skills in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance of Council assets through on-the-job training.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced tradespeople to complete programmed works, whilst developing your trade certificate at the end of your time with us.

- Develop skills in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance of Council assets
- Work closely with experienced tradespeople to complete programmed works
- Prepare and implement programmed works in conjunction with the Team Leader and Team Members
- Follow direction of tradespeople
- Undertake additional training as required
- Gain the skills and experience necessary to provide plumbing installation, repair and maintenance services to Council assets through on-the-job training and development of trade-related practices
- Learn and apply new skills to specified standards
- Maximise productivity through current industry best practices
- Attend all TAFE classes as scheduled to successfully complete all TAFE subjects / apprenticeship
- Completion of NSW record of School Achievement (RoSA) or pre-apprenticeship
- Class C Driver's Licence (or in process of acquiring)
- Ability to develop and learn new skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to establish common goals
- Ability to work and actively contribute as part of a self-managing, multi-skilled team
- Capacity to work in a multi-project environment and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated high work standards
- Initiative and drive to succeed in chosen field
- 2nd, 3rd and 4th year apprentices welcome to apply
