Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to support our maritime sustainment programs in Western Australia.

Your work will have a direct impact on national defence and security, ensuring the safety of our maritime assets.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your expertise and make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily program execution, monitoring cost, schedule, and risk across multiple workstreams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Effectively engage and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Support engineering tasks using your technical background.
  • Develop and maintain project budgets and dashboards.
  • Lead risk and issue management and implement corrective actions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in Project Management within the defence or maritime sector.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management and/or Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of defence maritime systems, engineering frameworks, and ASDEFCON contracting.
  • Proven leadership ability in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to hold and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
