Our client, a reputable holistic accounting firm, is seeking a Senior Business Services/Tax Accountant to join their team. In this autonomous role, you will have the opportunity to work with high net worth and business clients, providing a full spectrum of tax, accounting, and business advisory services.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for mentoring and leading junior accountants and accounting administrators. You will also have the chance to develop and implement business strategies, ensuring the continued growth and success of the firm.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing tax, accounting, and business advisory services to high net worth and business clients;
  • Mentoring and leading junior accountants and accounting administrators;
  • Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and success;
  • Collaborating with the leadership team to achieve business objectives;

Requirements for the role include:

  • A degree in accounting or a related field;
  • CA/CPA qualification or in the process of studying;
  • 5+ years of experience in tax and business services in a chartered/CPA firm;
  • Strong technical competency in income tax, CGT, GST, and superannuation;
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;
