Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date mine plans, including block model analysis and regularisation
  • Determine mining methods and optimize cut-off grade analysis
  • Design and generate stope plans using Deswik Stope Optimiser
  • Assign attributes and set up derived activity sets
  • Convert attributed designs into schedule tasks and activities
  • Create dependencies and task links, and optimize mine sequencing
  • Generate reserves and reports, and perform financial evaluations using Excel

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mining engineering, with a maximum of 10 years
  • Strong knowledge of Deswik software and experience with long-term planning
  • Ability to work FIFO from Queensland to PNG, with a preference for residing in QLD
  • Hard rock experience, preferably in gold or other commodities
  • 21 days on, 14 days off roster
  • Pay rate with a 65% site uplift
