About the Role

The Business Operations Support Officer plays a crucial role in the development, planning, and production of business outputs and outcomes. This position is primarily engaged in administrative, exhibits management, stocktakes, data interrogation, basic research, and less complex analysis work involving the collection of information across the intelligence, business, and operational aspects of the ACIC.

The Business Operations Support Officer works closely with operational teams, taskforces, investigators, intelligence practitioners, administrative staff, Executive members, and external partner and provider agencies to ensure that office operational outputs support the ACIC.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
  2. Contribute to the development and implementation of business outputs and outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with operational teams to ensure that office operational outputs support the ACIC.
  4. Source and manage information to provide advice to stakeholders.
  5. Develop and maintain effective record-keeping systems.
  6. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including oral and written communication.
  7. Develop and maintain skills in information and communication technology (ICT) systems.
  8. Work flexibly across a number of functional portfolios as required.
Requirements

Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.

Security Clearance: The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity. Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.

Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
