Job Title: Experience Manager for Events and Exhibitions

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the planning and delivery of events and exhibitions that drive visitor engagement. Based in Northbridge, this role is responsible for coordinating logistics, managing suppliers, and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:

  • Coordinate event staff to ensure public safety, OSH compliance, security, and liquor licensing standards are met.
  • Sources and manages third-party suppliers including catering, AV, entertainment, and hire companies.
  • Assists in strategic business planning with the marketing director to drive commercial growth across all areas of event business.
  • Oversees financial management including quoting, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Plans and implements exhibition openings, sponsor/partner events, open days, and large-scale events.
  • Manages bookings for public programs and events.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in event coordination and related industries.
  • Able to plan and implement innovative visitor programs and events while ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly to provide a service outside of normal business hours.
  • Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Office.
