We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our Client Acquisition team at Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business development and supporting Commercial Banking, Major Client Group, and Regional & Agribusiness Banking.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct complex financial modelling and analysis for Regional & Agribusiness Banking clients.
- Prepare credit submissions for new-to-bank transactions and manage deal execution, including documentation and funding.
- Collaborate with Executives to understand customer needs and ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and present pitches to potential clients, including board-level, business owners, and senior management teams.
- Fulfil reporting requirements, including pipeline leads, calls, contacts, and revenue tracking.
- Partner with Product Specialists to meet client requirements effectively.
- Extensive experience in complex credit submissions, with strong financial analysis skills and expertise in interpreting 3-way financials, and structuring loans, securities, and financial products.
- Experience with diversified customers, cash flow lending, and debt of $10M+, including complex lending and corporate structures.
- Experience in considering business and market risk, writing and analysing credit transactions.
- Experience with credit structuring, legal documentation, and excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
- A flexible approach to working hours and patterns, with a willingness to work additional hours as required.
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
