Job Summary

Our team seeks an accomplished security professional to oversee the protection and integrity of applications by analyzing and updating policies on Akamai App & API Protector.

  • Ensure the security and integrity of applications through thorough policy analysis and updates on Akamai App & API Protector.
  • Collaborate with application teams to optimize cache state web page elements for enhanced CDN usage.
  • Review and update Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules to effectively prevent DDOS attacks.
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a keen understanding of cybersecurity principles.

  • Deploy software efficiently to RHEL & Windows based systems using automation tools.
  • Advise on and communicate software development and web application security best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with application and project teams as well as developers.
  • Evaluate and convey cybersecurity risks effectively.
Preferred Experience

We are looking for a seasoned security expert with in-depth knowledge of DevOps and scripting tools such as Jenkins, Bash, and Python.

  • Familiarity with enterprise risk management, governance, and compliance is essential.
  • Experience in creating and leading security education and awareness initiatives is highly valued.
  • Proficiency in WAFs, IAST, DAST, Container Security, and threat modelling is required.
