Palliative Care Specialist Opportunity in ACT

Mediix is seeking a compassionate Palliative Care Registrar to join their team in the Australian Capital Territory. This full-time, temporary role offers hands-on experience in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About the Role- This position involves providing medical support as part of an interdisciplinary team in both community and hospice-based palliative care programs.
- You will work under the supervision of experienced Palliative Care Consultants and be responsible for supporting patients and their families to manage palliative care needs at home.
- The successful candidate will also contribute to 24-hour phone support for patients and their families and assist in training families on caregiving skills and providing in-home equipment.
- You will participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives to enhance your skills in palliative care.
- Provide medical support in community and hospice-based palliative care programs.
- Work under the supervision of experienced Palliative Care Consultants.
- Support patients and their families to manage palliative care needs at home.
- Contribute to 24-hour phone support for patients and their families.
