About the Role

Gorilla Jobs is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will work closely with clients, insurers, employers, and medical practitioners to provide expert advice and support to individuals who have sustained an injury or illness that affects their ability to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Assessments and Develop Rehabilitation Plans: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop customized rehabilitation plans to facilitate their recovery and return to work.
  • Provide Expert Advice and Support: Provide expert advice and support to clients, insurers, employers, and medical practitioners to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Build Positive Relationships: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support to clients.
  • Record Progress and Report Outcomes: Keep accurate records of clients' progress and report on outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and evaluation.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay up to date with industry developments and attend professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements
  • A degree in occupational therapy, psychology, exercise physiology, physiotherapy, social work, or rehabilitation counselling.
  • Working towards full registration with AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC, AASW.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work in different locations if required.
