About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced National Creative Director to lead our internal creative studio. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for aligning all creative execution with our brand visual identity, direction, and campaign brief objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of creative professionals to deliver high-quality creative work that meets our brand standards.
  • Develop and implement creative strategies that align with our brand vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and external creative agency partners to execute outstanding work on brief, on budget, and on time.
  • Drive all photography and video standards for internal studio team execution.
  • Support the development of campaign collateral, adhering to style guides and brand identity.
  • Oversee concept development of campaign elements across all touchpoints.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of industry experience in a senior Art Director or entry-level Creative Director role.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement across multiple disciplines, both internal and external.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring team members with less experience.
  • Clear understanding of what is "on brand" for Target and a creative taste level that is appropriate for our target audience.
  • Experience in the retail sector, with extensive apparel and soft home category creative experience preferred.
