Manual Labourer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manual Labourer to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a Manual Labourer, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging setting, contributing to the success of our business.

The successful candidate will be responsible for packing goods, transporting goods, recording inventory, operating forklift and lift systems, processing shipments, ordering goods, unloading and loading trucks, preparing goods for transport, supervising warehouse employees, verifying shipping documents, organizing purchase orders and receipts, and overseeing warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Packing goods in a safe and efficient manner
  • Transporting goods to and from storage areas
  • Recording inventory levels and reporting discrepancies
  • Operating forklift and lift systems to move heavy loads
  • Processing shipments and managing logistics
  • Ordering goods and supplies as needed
  • Unloading and loading trucks safely and efficiently
  • Preparing goods for transport by loading and securing cargo
  • Supervising warehouse employees and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Verifying shipping documents and ensuring accuracy
  • Organizing purchase orders and receipts for accurate record-keeping
  • Oversighting warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and productivity
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment (preferred)
  • Ability to work 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to perform manual labour tasks
