Senior Frontend Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications using React Native.

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend developers to translate requirements into functional and intuitive mobile applications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices including component reusability and state management.
  • Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues in the application.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and libraries ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.

Requirements:

  • Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced technical knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, React.js and TypeScript.
  • Strong grasp of object-oriented/functional design, refactoring and similar techniques to create modular, testable and maintainable solutions.
  • Understanding of service-oriented architecture and RESTful web services.
  • Solid knowledge of defensive coding practices to address common security vulnerabilities.
  • Understanding of working in agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and test automation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
