Job Title: Protective Service Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Protective Service Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and prevent potential security breaches
  • Monitor CCTV systems and respond to alarms as necessary
  • Provide assistance to hospital staff in situations requiring de-escalation or restraint
  • Transport patients to the morgue or other areas as needed
  • Assist with evacuations during emergencies
  • Sound alarms or call emergency services in case of fire or unauthorized access
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver's license (if applicable)
  • Minimum two years of experience in customer service or protective services
  • Ability to operate radio equipment and/or console monitors
  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with the public
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to assess and evaluate situations quickly and accurately
Preferred Qualifications
  • Military background in law enforcement or security
  • Graduate of a public safety academy or verified work experience in law enforcement or corrections
  • Bachelor's degree in law enforcement or criminal justice
