Melbourne Shuttle Driver Position

At Lindsay Transport, we are currently seeking Shuttle Drivers to join our Melbourne Team. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with temperature sensitive produce
  • Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
  • Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
  • Interacting with clients in a professional manner
  • Working closely with depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight

Requirements:

  • Current and valid MC licence as a minimum
  • Experience driving B-doubles
  • Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems
  • BASIC FATIGUE MANAGEMENT ACCREDITATION (WELL RESPECTED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
  • Strong customer focus with good communication skills

Additional Requirements:

  • Available to work a Monday - Friday roster
  • Willng to work weekend roster & be flexible with start & finish times
  • Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
  • Provide a current traffic print out
