Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator

**Role Overview:**

Brentwood Village is a thriving retirement community seeking a skilled Maintenance and Facilities Coordinator to join our team. This exciting opportunity involves ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by undertaking maintenance activities and providing exceptional customer service to residents.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Undertake routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and services for village residents, staff, and visitors
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and cleanliness in all village facilities
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with residents, management, and other staff members

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a maintenance assistant or handyperson, with a strong understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
  • Effective communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • A current Australian Drivers Licence and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Computer literacy, with basic knowledge of using Excel, Word, Outlook, and other applications
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for daily tasks
